Email recipient restrictions

Friday restricts who you can email based on your account’s email domain:
  • Company email (e.g., you@acme.com) — you can send to any @acme.com address.
  • Personal email (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com) — you can only send to your own address.
All emails are sent from notifications@hellofriday.ai.
Emails to restricted recipients are silently redirected. If you specify a recipient outside your allowed domain, Friday delivers the email to your own address instead — no error or warning is shown. Always verify that your recipient is within your domain before relying on email delivery.
If you need to send emails to anyone regardless of domain, use the Gmail integration instead. Gmail sends from your own Google account and has no domain restrictions.
