Overview
Friday can search, read, create, and update records across HubSpot’s platform, including contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and more. You can also manage associations between records (for example, linking a contact to a deal). To enable these capabilities you must connect the HubSpot integration to your account. The connection is a one-time OAuth authorization; after it’s set up Friday will use the HubSpot integration automatically whenever a task requires it.HubSpot Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans are all supported.

- Permission to authorize third-party apps on your HubSpot portal.
Step-by-step guide
Friday will automatically detect when you need to connect to HubSpot as part of your regular use.Start with a real HubSpot request
Tell Friday what you want to do with HubSpot. This gives Friday the context it needs to request access and complete the setup.Example prompts:
- “Show me all open deals in HubSpot that are closing this month.”
- “Create a new contact in HubSpot for Jane Smith at jane@acme.com.”
- “Update the stage of the Acme deal to ‘Contract Sent’ in HubSpot.”
- “Log a call note on the Acme Corp ticket in HubSpot.”
- “Every Monday at 9am, summarize the week’s new HubSpot tickets and email them to my team.”
Start the OAuth flow
If you haven’t connected HubSpot previously, Friday will automatically detect that you need to go through a one-time OAuth flow.
- Click Connect HubSpot.
- You’ll be redirected to HubSpot’s authorization page.
Authorize Friday
- Review the permissions requested.
- Click Grant access to authorize Friday.
- HubSpot will return you to Friday with a confirmation that the connection succeeded.
Continue your task
After authentication, the task you set up in Step 1 will continue automatically, and Friday will now be able to work with your HubSpot CRM data.
Security and permissions
- Friday stores the OAuth token securely; the raw token is never exposed to you.
- The token grants read and write access to CRM records. Friday cannot delete records.
- One team member authorizes the connection and all users in the account can use it.
- Revoking the integration in HubSpot automatically disables the connection; you’ll need to reconnect to restore functionality.
Revoking access
Note: By revoking access, any current and future Spaces set up with Friday will no longer be able to use HubSpot until you reconnect. To remove the HubSpot token from Friday:- In Friday, go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find the HubSpot integration and click Remove.
- In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.
- Find the Friday application.
- Click Uninstall to remove access.
